The music publishing company that owns the rights to the song “Play With Fire” by Rolling Stones has filed a copyright infringement/unfair competition Lawsuit against Bad Boy Rapper (Dwayne Michael Carter). The suit claims the sample used in his “Playing With Fire” cut from Tha Carter IIIis a clear derivative of the Stones track.

The court papers use examples like the line “But you can’t blame me if I set this stage on fire” which is a total Rip of Mick Jagger’s famous “But don’t play with me, ’cause you’re playing with fire” lyrics.
The suit also alleges that Lil Wayne uses “explicit, sexist and offensive language” that has not be approved by the band [Stones].
Wayne’s engineer, Fabian Marasciullo, explained how they knew it up front. “There wasn’t no way [the sample] was gonna get cleared and everyone was tripping about it”. But They Used It Anyway…

26 year old actress Sienna Miller, (formerJude Law squeeze), has launched a law suit against News International and photo agency Big Pictures at the English High Court.

Her legal firm Carter-Ruck has served a writ for breach of privacy against the News of the World, the Sun, and the Big Pictures agency relating to a series of articles about the star.
It is believed that the writ relates to two articles that appeared in the Sun where Big Pictures contributed photos. The stories and pictures reported on Miller’s holiday in Italy and also referred to her friendship with Balthazar Getty, heir to the Getty oil fortune.
The photos show her KissingBalthazar who is married. Earlier this week, Getty announced he and his wife Rosetta, with whom he has four children, had separated.
In a statement he said: “The breakdown of a marriage is a very difficult and painful experience especially when children are involved.”
The photos had caused “great embarrassment,” he said.
