Legendary Actor / Director Clint Eastwood talked about beautiful 33 year old Academy Award winning Actress Angelina Jolie at the New Yorker Festival yesterday. “She is an actress hampered by her gorgeous face, I think the most beautiful face on the planet.”

Eastwood talked about the Actress in an interview with US Magazine. “People sometimes can’t see past that, [Beauty] to her talent. She’s on all these magazine covers so it’s easy to overlook what an amazing actress is underneath.”

“Actors know with me they aren’t going to be allowed to rehearse a scene for a couple of hours and then get away with doing 25 takes before we get it right, so they come with their full bag of tricks,” Eastwood said. “Angelina is a lot like Meryl Streep in that respect.”

Eastwood directed Jolie in his new movie Changeling which opens in limited release October 24.

Jolie, accompanied by husband Brad Pitt, made her first red carpet appearance at Saturday’s Changeling premiere at the Ziegfeld Theatre in New York City.
