Our girl Britney Spears is back in a big way with the success of her her new video Womanizer on the Internet and especially on MTV.co.uk – since being uploaded on to the web site yesterday the video has been viewed by a record number of people, and shows no signs of slowing-down!
Britney Spears Is Back!
She’s come a long way since being locked down in a psych ward last January. Womanizer is the first single from Britney’s new album Circus which is scheduled for release released on her 27th birthday (December 2).
The new music video, has Britney playing several different roles: nightie-clad girlfriend, naughty secretary, tattooed waitress and a near-topless chauffeur.
“Brit still has a lot of fans and everyone wants to see her back to her best. Other people are checking it out to see if it’s a car crash but loving it so much they are watching it again and again.
“This should definitely help her win back her pop princess crown back after a difficult time.”
Britney talked about the hardships that led up to this comeback. “I’ve been through a lot, and there’s a lot people don’t know. Sometimes it can get lonely ’cause you don’t open the gate. I’m stuck in this place, and I just cope every day.” “I sit there and I look back,” she said, “I’m a smart person, what the hell was I thinking?”
