The Oscar-winning actress and her country-star husband welcomed a baby girl on Monday, then named her after the day before.
“Earlier this morning Nic gave birth to our beautiful baby girl, Sunday Rose Kidman Urban,” read the message posted on Urban’s Web site. “We want to thank everybody that has kept us in their thoughts and prayers. We feel very blessed and grateful that we can share this joy with all of you today.”
Jessica Simpson has joined the Rock Group ZZ Top. After her last Pop Record flopped, she tried her hand a Country Music. And she may be having some success, “Come on Over” the debut single from her upcoming country album has cracked the top 30 on Billboard’s country singles chart.
In the mean time she has decided to try her luck with Rock And Roll. After a successful gig with ZZ Top in May at the “America: United in Support of Our Troops Concert” at Camp Pendleton, she asked to join up as the groups new lead signed. ZZ Top is considering the offer, but we’re not betting on it.

Snoop Dogg is set to release his latest County Song, “Yo Cheatin Baby Momma”. After the success of his appearance on the CMT Awards along with Paula Abdul, Snoop decided to try his hand at Country.

Simpson told Billboard Magazine: “I am a country girl,” she says. “I grew up in Texas, and country music was what I listened to. I always wanted to make a country album, but I wanted to wait until the time was right.”
