The Other Boleyn Girl, 27 year old Israeli /American actress won the “Humanity Award” at the Venice Film Festival on Sunday, for her work with social and environmental programs. (Besides her other incredible Assets!)
Award Winning Natalie Portman!
The award is given to film artists who devote themselves to humanitarian causes. The Oscar-Nominee Portman has donated her $50,000 prize to the Jane Goodall Institute in Tanzania, where she supports the Tacare Girl’s Scholarship Program.
Portman stated: “The Jane Goodall foundation does incredible work in Tanzania, an area which is very environmentally affected, I really appreciate this award”
