Since her last album “Sucked The Hog” anyway, Jessica Simpson has decided to go “Hog Wild” and Go Country. Maybe hanging with Dallas Cowboys boyfriend Tony Romo is rubbing off on her.
Simpson told Billboard Magazine: “I am a country girl,” she says. “I grew up in Texas, and country music was what I listened to. I always wanted to make a country album, but I wanted to wait until the time was right.”
She went on to say: “I think there is a strength in female country artists,” Simpson adds, citing Martina McBride, Shania Twain, Faith Hill and Reba McEntire as some of her inspirations. She forgot (Dolly Parton)

The tour, produced by Live Nation, kicks off on July 1st and will hit over 40 major cities in the US and Canada and will feature all four original Motley Crue members — singer Vince Neil, bassist Niki Sixx, guitarist Mick Mars and drummer Tommy Lee.
Speaking at a press conference today in Los Angeles the veteran rockers announced that Buckcherry, Papa Roach, and (which features Motley Crue bassist Nikki Sixx) will join them on the tour.
The Crue performed two songs at the conference, kicking off with ‘Kickstart My Heart’, and then world premiering their new single “Saints Of Los Angeles”.
The new album follows the story of the band’s NY Times best-selling memoir The Dirt, a no-holds-barred tell-all that features every gritty detail of the band’s exploits as one of the world’s biggest rock bands.
