30 To 1 LongShot Wins!
Da’ Tara shocked the racing world in a major upset today was the winner of the 2008 Belmont Stakes. The Favorite, Big Brown failed to deliver on Triple Crown expectations.
Da’Tara was one the longshots on the board for the Belmont Stakes but it wouldn’t be the first time a Nick Zito trained horse. Da’ Tara, starting from position 6, had little trouble winning the race and was one of the distant contenders with odds 30/1 before the race at the online bookmaker.
Da’Tara, winner of the Breeder’s Cup race last year, took the lead from the start of the race and held it all the way to the end, sitting atop of the Belmont Stakes results board
