BON Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora has been arrested on suspicion of drink-driving, he was pulled over with his girlfriend and 10-year-old daughter in the car.
Sambora, 48, was detained after being stopped in Laguna Beach, south of Los Angeles, overnight while at the wheel of his black Hummer, a police spokesman said. Sambora was driving the Hummer and was with his girlfriend, daughter Ava (whose mother is ex-wife Heather Locklear) and another unidentified juvenile girl.
The rock star failed a series of roadside sobriety tests after he was pulled over by police before undergoing a blood test, Laguna Beach police sergeant Jason Kravetz said. (No relation to Lenny Kravitz)
“He was very co-operative,” Sgt Kravetz said.
Sambora was released from jail today and must appear in court in Newport Beach on May 7 for a hearing, Sgt Kravetz said.
Sambora entered a treatment facility in June 2007. “I was just drinking too much and I needed to get my life together,” he said during a Today show appearance. “I’m still in therapy and stuff like that, but it’s good. I’m great. I feel fine.”

Sambora’s attorney Johnny Cockran has developed a very clever “Out” for the skid row guitarist. He plans to tell judge Lance Ito that Ritchie was merely “siphoning” some home brewed ethanol from a gallon jug into his Mercedes and “accidentally” swallowed some, of course making him fail the breatalyzer test. This “ploy” was used successfully by The famous 1st Brother Billy Carter in his DUI arrest in 1987.

Poor, Richie don’t you know when your in your Hummer and getting one, you drive a little crazy!!! You got to know how to master that, i would of thought buy know you would of. You need to get a pump for your ethanol, if you got enough money to buy a Hummer which gets about 30 miles a gallon or so, why would you care about the clean fuel enviroment thing and/or at least get a illegal immagrant from Mexico to be your siphoning tool. I’m sure he won’t mind and he won’t mind killing our economy by sending all that money you pay him to his family in Mexico. If the Immagrant spent it here it might be ok but let him get the buzz for the tip. Anyway, take my advice it might help. For, Heeeerrrrreeeee’sssssss Jonny Cockran. You could of spent that money on a 1oo illegals at least but desperate times call for desperate measures. Just to think i admired you, now i admire you even more now!!! Keep up the great work i love it and buy the way can i have your autograph, i’m serious. By the way wipe off your Hummer after……….you know!
