Unfortunately, Hollywood’s All American Dream Couple, Ryan Phillippe and Reece Witherspoon, have officially finalized their divorce.  The court papers, just released, didn’t contain any juicy details.  The ever popular term, “irreconcilable differences”, was used as the reason for the separation.

According to sources, the couple is planning to split custody of their son, Deacon, 4, and daughter, Ava, 8.  It has also been reported that Phillippe will not be asking for alamony from his higher paid wife.

Recently, Witherspoon was seen cuddling with Jake Gyllenhaal, who is co-starring with her in Rendition.  Phillippe, apparently, is also dating again.  He has been seen recently with Abbie Cornish, his co-star in Stop Loss.

Actor Bill Murray’s wife, Jennifer Butler Murray, recently claimed in divorce papers that the actor is a “Violent Pot and Alcohol Addict” — but police documents show that Mrs. Murray has seemed to be very drunk at times herself, and was said to have gotten “physical” with her children.

Associated Press Reported: The 46-year-old TV personality quietly filed divorce papers March 26 in New York Supreme Court in Manhattan. The records are sealed, syndicated entertainment show “Entertainment Tonight” reported Wednesday.

But a representative for SHADOW PR, which represents Jones, confirmed to The Associated Press that she is seeking to end the union.

In a statement to “Entertainment Tonight,” Jones said: “Several years ago I made an error in judgment by inviting the media into the most intimate area of my life. A month ago I filed for divorce.

“The dissolution of a marriage is a difficult time in anyone’s life that requires privacy with one’s thoughts. I have committed myself to handling this situation with dignity and grace and look forward to emerging from this period as a stronger and wiser woman.”

The Associated Press reported: Paul McCartney’s divorce from Heather Mills was settled Monday for $48.6 million — an enormous sum, but a fraction of what she had sought and a sliver of the former Beatle’s $800 million fortune.

A document released by the Family Court said the judge awarded Mills a lump sum of $33 million plus the assets she currently holds worth $15.6 million.

“I’m so, so happy with this,” Mills told reporters following the closed hearing.

The court also ruled that the couple’s 4-year-old daughter Beatrice should receive a “periodical payments order” of $70,000 per annum. On top of that, McCartney will pay for the child’s nanny and school fees.

“I’m so glad it’s over,” Mills said at her impromptu news conference.

“It was an incredible result in the end to secure mine and my daughter’s future and that of all the charities that I obviously plan on helping and making a difference with — because you know it has been my life for 20 years,” she said.

McCartney left the court without making any statement.

Lady McCartney sought nearly 250 million from their four year marriage but was awarded a mere 48.6 million in one of the highest profile cases in decades.
