Hello again to all of you at The-Deli! I have the inside scoop on the hottest wrestling academy in the U.S. Booker T’s – Pro Wrestling Alliance or PWA to it’s many loyal fans is THE PLACE to get involved in all aspects of professional wrestling. The on-site trainers are top notch, and you will even have the distinct pleasure of working with Booker himself. The Academy is based out of downtown Houston, TX a few blocks away from Minute Maid Park.
When first joining the Academy I was very surprised and thankful to all of my peers for being very helpful and accepting. Everyone there seems to grasp that this isn’t a competition that you can win on your own. You have to work together to be able to produce a high quality product in and out of the ring.
The academy has many great amenities available to it’s students. There is currently an amazing workout facility on-site that anyone at the academy can use at any time that the school is open. Not to mention the six full sized wrestling rings to practice in. typically you’ll find that most wrestling academies only have a couple rings to work in. This is a distinct advantage for PWA students. There is no waiting when it comes to wanting to work on something inside the ring.

The academy also boasts a monthly live show at the Pasadena Convention Center. Which also sets it apart from it’s competitors. PWA talent get the chance to put what they have learned into action, and refine their techniques in front of a sizable crowd. They gain the live show experience they will need to step up to any of the large promotions in the U.S. or around the globe.
If you are in the Houston area I very much recommend coming to the next live show “Halloween Havoc” on the 31st of October at the Pasadena Convention Center. The PWA will crown their first Iron Man Champion in an epic match.

It was a Showdown Tuesday Night when U.S. presidential candidates Barack “Osama” Obama and John “Boy” McCain had their second so called debate on economy Tuesday night at Belmont University in Nashville, Tenn.

Both Candidates showed their stuff – and then proceded to Rip Each Other. Some polls suggests Wednesday that “Osama” Obama won the second U.S. presidential debate against opponent John Boy Tuesday night. Others suggest that They both were A Couple Of Losers!

Former mixed martial arts light UFC Heavyweight Champion 30 year old Quinton “Rampage” Jackson was arrested Tuesday after a series of collisions allegedly involving the pickup truck he was driving. Police received a report of an accident on the 55 Freeway near 19th Street in Costa Mesa involving a large pickup truck that had struck other vehicles and fled the scene.
TMZ Reported: Rampage then began driving on the center divider. But it gets worse. According to the police report, Jackson then drove on the sidewalk, “causing pedestrians to flee for their lives.” He started driving the wrong way on a crowded street, colliding with yet another car in an intersection. As he continued on, running several red lights, his tire disintegrated and he began driving on the rim.
Rampage eventually got to the exclusive Balboa Peninsula in Newport Beach, where he again drove on the sidewalk, “causing pedestrians to flee in terror.”
Jackson was booked into Orange County Jail for investigation of felony evading, hit and run and reckless driving, according to Lt. Paul Dondero of the Costa Mesa Police Department. Bail was set at $25,000.
In an effort to get more viewers for his dying Steroid Pumping spectacle he calls a show, WWE Chairman Vince McMahon announced that he will be handing out $1 million of his own money live on the show (Raw).
What a Bozo, he made it sound like he was giving away a Million Dollars a week, but the carefully worded statement says that WWE would be giving away a Million over an unspecified number of weeks. Smackdown!
This just shows you that WWE is running scared with a major chunk of it’s fan base has deserting in droves for the the competing wrestling show TNA Impact.

This past Monday night on WWE Raw was true DVR material. Celeb Gossip Kings at The-Deli have a few reasons why. There was about 5 minutes of programming worth watching. Again and again we see the same thing on Monday night Raw. An opening banter lasting 10-15 minutes of the broadcast. Followed by a match lasting 5 minutes. Their weekly “talkshow” the “Highlight Reel” hosted by Chris Jericho generally has a 5-10 minute slot in the second hour which in all reality should be non-stop wrestling. If WWE viewers actually survived the first hour they should be rewarded with a great main event. On Raw they generally wait until 9:50 or 9:55 p.m. to begin their main event, and their time slot ends at 10:05! This 10-15 minutes always has on the low end one commercial break. To say the least it doesn’t leave much time for any real action to take place.
Don’t forget to check out IMPACT! on Spike t.v. Thursday nights at 8 p.m. before more action on Ultimate Fighter! The Icon Sting and Big Sexy Kevin Nash take on Team 3d before the bloody massacre at LOCKDOWN when it’s 5 on 5 inside the SIX SIDES OF STEEL!
